A company with eight divisions as pillars—at the 2016 Annual Press Conference in Berlin, we took the new structure of the Bertelsmann Group literally and staged the company with eight glass pillars for the divisions and one for the entire company.

The pillars alone were simple, transparent, yet robust and sturdy, perfectly reflecting Bertelsmann's values. The overall multimedia presentation also provided the necessary infotainment: projectors were integrated into each pillar, projecting directly onto the glass. This made it possible to play a synchronized, coherent animation across all pillars and then to focus on individual areas again.

Not only the visitors of the Annual Press Conference were thrilled, but also the guests of all other locations through which the exhibit subsequently "toured".
